date of expiry (DOE)

2 things i realised.... not any tear jerker movies can get me crying... wat will get me crying in a movie.. the movie has little children, either missing their mummies or of being apart... love story revolving young adults... even if the gal has leukemia and has to die... won't get me into tears.... only the last part... when she says those words in the tape.... but the funny thing was it wasn't the movie that made me cry... it was some other things AFTER the movie that made me cry...

2nd thing i realise, DOE.
1) food products have DOE to keep them fresh, we usually throw out the food stuff after their DOE.
2) in the case of the movie, the gal who had leukemia also know that her life has a DOE. the only thing is she doesn't know exactly when... she juz sees herself withering away, bald, weak....
3) certain things in your life also has DOE... it's like u know that the bus will come at 615 am and if you woke up late... you'll double up in order to catch the bus, if not, you'll miss it.
4)woman also has DOE. it's like if you are past 30 and still not married or attached, people stamp the DOE on u... 'left on the shelf' blah blah blah
5) love? on one hand, u can think of it has having a DOE... when a couple get divorced or separated.... DOE, love has expired between the 2 people....end of the road.... can throw the love away... on the other hand.... it may not have DOE for true love... like in the movie... the old man was sad when his 1st love died, kept a part of her with him.... did love die? i guess in this case, no... no DOE.... when the gal in the movie died... the boy could not get over her.... no DOE.... true love has no expiry date... that's why the phrase 'eternal love'

how many people in their life time can find true love, eternal love with no DOE? but even if you found eternal love... how can u be sure that there is no DOE?

hope this sets some of us thinking, be it searching for true love, have already found true love or even for those searching for a meaning in life.... fren, remember, DOE

Two lovely young ladies

if u have been catching Hollywood movies, you would see these two young lovely ladies... Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson (if i spell her name)

i caught sight of Scarlett Johansson in the movie about a dad and a young guy being his superior, and this young guy is dating the daughter which is played by her... can't rem the movie's name...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

and she is now acting in 'The Island' if you notice, she has this nice smile and this little mole on her right cheek and she has a low husky voice... sexy.. not to mention, her body... i like her for who she is...

the other lady, Jessica Alba, saw her first in Fantastic Four, in the skin tight F4 costume.... then Sin City (nice moves) and another movie which is releasing soon, 'Into the Blue' she would definitely be showing more flesh in this movie, cos it's about diving.... ohhhhh, she's hot....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

no dirty connotation to this posting... juz like these two young ladies for who they are... and wish them all the best in their Hollywood career and survive out there.....

i guess it's also been such a long time, i have such a cheerful tone to my blog.... there seems to be no sunshine today, overcast, so i'll be the clown today and be the sunshine... cheers!

before national day

i always look forward to 8/8, not only because it's Marcus' b-day... but the weeks before National Day are always so busy with National Day concert preparation in school, and all the test papers and exam papers to be submitted.... plus the normal teaching load and worksheets to mark... it's crazy!!!!

but once 8/8 comes, but once the concert is over, i can relax and enjoy Marcus' birthday. plus this year, i have to prepare for his b-day, all the sweets he has to bring to school to give out to his classmates... plus that day is his b-day, i dunno whether to join him in school or not... but i can't, i need to be in school too to run the show.... dilemma, i hope he will understand. he would be so happy this year.... to celebrate his b-day with the nation's b-day.

i really look forward to National Day....

one in a million

today aqilah told me, it's not easy to find the guy u really like nowadays, it's really like one in a million... i totally agree with her... one in a million

but when u find that one in a million, the feeling is like, it's better than striking toto... the feeling that u r so comfortable with each other, u dun need words to communicate, becos u basically can read each other's mind, do the same actions, say the same words, the same tone.... it's like u r breathing together as one....

but if u know that u have found your one in a million, and u know that u cannot be together, it hurts. it aches so much that you can feel your heart tearing into pieces. the pain of being apart... nobody wants to go thru this alone, have to go thru together...the more u r together, the more painful the parting is...nobody can understand

wat a boring afternoon

i shouldn't say it's boring... cos actually it's up to u to fill up your time... it's juz that i choose to surf the web aimlessly... listening to songs and post mortem on things... how to snap out of this? maybe it's pre Monday blues....
wat a horrible place to go

Big mistake to go to compass point, the foodcourt at 4th floor....

1st: the stupid chairs are heavy

2nd: the tables and chairs are placed so close to one another, wonder how the fat people go thru them

3rd: the most infuriating thing... never fight with sengkang aunties. i was waiting for this table to finish their food and the man indicated that he is going to let me have their table... so i was standing nearby waiting for them to finish.... then got this fat auntie, juz conveniently came and stand beside the same table. i STARED at her, but obviously she is so 'bah' (hokkien word for ignorant) she didn't even know i was staring at her... then when this family stood up, she juz conveniently places her fat bum on the one of the seats... the family have not even cleared the table yet... how 'bah' can she get? i actually wanted to quarrel with her... but i think, it's an insult to me if i quarrel with her... actually i also felt like pushing her or slapping her, my survival instinct nearly took the better of me, i had to walk away quickly in order to control my anger...

4th: if u realise... there are parking lots at B4, but many cars are too lazy to go all the way down to B4, so they conveniently park 'illegally', causing mini jams in the carpark... sengkang families, tho yuppies, but lazy... (maybe not all, a handful) i'm trying not to generalise here, but that is the feeling i get...

5th: bread talk having offer, $1 for most of the bread... also overheard one auntie complaining to her husband after coming out of breadtalk that some aunties doesn't queue up or juz snatch the bread from the tray when it was the last piece on the tray.... confirm my theory on sengkang aunties

6th: when buying coffee and drinks, mr tan also got it from an auntie. apparently, she didn't follow the queue and ordered the coffee, cutting the queue... triple confirm my theory on sengkang aunties.

if u dun want to upset your own day, then never go to compass point on a weekend... all these incidents juz spoil your mood

to end off:
the gal in the story was reading the letter he sent....

"....someday i want u to be by my side as a whole dear.... wait 4 me..."

she looked up to the sky and whispered, "u must hold on to your promise."

the heart

to me is a heart, to mabel, whenever she sees heartshape, she says love. dear children, when u grow up next time, i hope that both of u can experience true love and really love with all your heart and soul.

The heart and mind are funny instruments.... as long as your heart is still beating, your brain is still functioning, they cannot pronounce u dead....

so is it the brain that controls the heart or the heart that controls the brain? people always need to have a clear mind to think... but the heart sometimes is in the way... they say the feelings cloud the mind, cannot make logical conclusions....

feelings... yes, without a heart, you cannot feel. it will be sad if one has no feelings. becos it's the feelings that fulfils our life.

but you will have to feel the pain, agony, hurt to know what is happiness, love and fortune (not the money sense, in chinese 'fu') though it's very painful for the heart, (u literally can feel the ache in the heart, like a knife stabbing the heart. know that familiar feeling?) there is no short cut. in chinese, they say, 'bei, huan, li, he' (sad, happy, apart, reunited) do we really have to experience all these?

the heart is numb... numb from the pain of realisation... realisation of so many things..... i juz realised something again, it's 2.36pm when i started blogging this.... another stab, ouch!

pose a question to hub

watching a show and the main character, the guy, was actually strumming a guitar and singing to the girl. the girl was enjoying the song... she suggested that the guy record the song and sent it to her in the email when she goes abroad to study....

the gal left for her studies... and then one day when she opened her email, the guy actually recorded the song and sent it to her in mp3 format. when she saved it and opened it, she cried while listening to the song... it was the guy, strumming the guitar and singing the song... then from then on, he would sing and record the love songs and sent it to this gal.

hinted to hub, how nice if he could play the guitar and sing... i'll be very touched... but too bad, he doesn't... anyway, juz a thought for the morning.....

anyway, how could 2 persons start blogging at the same time......? 2.36pm.... even the song recorded was 2 mins 36 sec and now after 18 hours, 8.36, i'm blogging again. do you believe that there might be another you out there in the world????

this afternoon

i was trying to blog that mabel was very naughty. i shall not recount the incidents cos i got no inspiration already.....

but i can see that she is making marcus very irritated with her and angry with her. but gor gor is a gentleman, he never hit her, he juz keep the toys and refused to play with her....

juz now, mabel also pull out a lot of tissue paper and was playing with it, and when daddy saw it, she quickly hide the tissue behind her... daddy came to tell mummy, mummy went in, looking very fierce, she looked at me, tissues in her hand, her tears started to roll out.... i juz told her off that i'm angry becos she is not being honest with us....

have to keep a close watch on mabel...
hate it when blogger loses my posting and i have to type all over again, makes me sick and no inspiration already lah........ fc uk

in hospital for 15 hours

went to KK woman's clinic on monday evening... doc say i have to be admitted. so on monday nite, 9pm plus... admitted. chose the subsidised one.. no tv, shit, miss my finale episode of desperate housewives.

then 1230, they came to bring me to the op theatre... lied down on the bed.. about 1am, pushed me inside... gosh, it's freezing cold. then the usual thing, stick pads, drip (i'm still having blue black), then came the mask... breathe in and out twice, by the third breathe in.... i was knocked out...totally knocked out.

woke up, and realised the mouth piece still in my mouth... gosh, pain, went all the way down to the throat.... nurse took it out for me... they monitored, then pushed me up to my ward. look at my watch, 230am.... almost couldn't sleep, still played one round of jaw breaker.

then at 7 plus, the doctors did their rounds. mine came at 716am, remembered, becos it's suppose to be flag raising. he said to take my blood for testing, if results are satisfactory, i can be discharged.

so the waiting, about 1245pm, the pharmacist gave me my medicine, that means i can go home liao.......... so quickly changed and packed and went home. yah, so my 15 hours in hospital.

will be resting at home these few days... either on bed or sitting down, moving only my hands....

gosh, i'm totally thrown off my track... now i need time and energy to catch up... with work.... but i guess i really have to take it slowly, but i hope that they understand... my health definitely comes first....
3 strikes

strike 1: it hurts me when the piggy says he wants to leave

strike 2: it hurts me when i realise that i've been so selfish all these while, taking for granted and completely ignoring or not realising how piggy felt and the hurt piggy felt

strike 3: it hurts to know that there is only happy endings in fairy tales. in reality, there is seldom happy ending.
that's why i like the song, 'tong hua' one part of the lyrics, u cried and told me that all fairy tales are bluffing people, i cannot never be your prince

continue Perth's pictues

ok, time to update my Perth's pictures again. this time, i'll start with 8th June, which is a Wednedsay....

8th June 2005

Bunbury/Busselton

Could not bring m&m to see the farm animals becos they could not wake up. By the time they woke up and got ready, we have to check out already. Anyway, they enjoyed seeing the animals and they were really surprised to see a really big and fat pig on the farm, so unlike the three little pigs they read about in their story books.

Drove to Bunbury. Went to the shopping centre to have lunch first. After that, we went to Koombana Dolphin Centre. However, there was no dolphin to be seen that day and the staff was not exactly helpful. So we left the place.

picture taken at the dolphin centre, marcus wanted to buy something which i refuse, that's why his sad and grumpy face

Brought m&m to the Rocky Point. It is a beach where there are lots of basalt rocks. Black in color and when the waves hit the rocks, it juz makes this loud noise and splashes up against the rocks. Lovely sight.

M&m wanted to build sandcastle. Let them played. Marcus surprised me, when he realized he could not build sandcastle (cos I think the sand is too hard or something like that, plus he doesn’t have the tools) he started drawing in the sand. I am surprised by his imagination. So he has this big piece of drawing paper and he started to move from place to place to draw. Tracks, his name, flowers, faces.

After that, we drove down to Busselton. When we left Bunbury, we noticed that many of the signboards were broken, most probably damaged by the strong winds. And also the Lookout Point of Bunbury was under construction.

As we were reaching Busselton, it started to rain heavily. Very very heavy, the winds were blowing so strongly that we could not drive too fast, becos the wind was like literally knocking us sideways. So we had to drive slowly. Luckily I was not the one driving, otherwise I could have freaked out. This is the 1st time I experienced such strong gust of wind.

Reached the tourist bureau and gotten some brochures. Never make any reservations, we will juz drive around (blindly) searching for an accommodation we like. Anyway, i have wanted to find this Gale street, becos there are about 2 places we could check it out. The 1st one, there was nobody to answer. The 2nd one says Gale Street Motels and Villas… while the name motel certainly does not fit this place. It was actually a really nice place. We have this 2 bedroom, chalet kind of place and there is this big place for m&m to play. I think they love the place.

For the rest of the day, we stayed in the room, bought some food to cook, Mr Tan is the chef tonite and I do the laundry (since there is a washing machine, I wasted no time to wash some clothings) m&m slept in one room, we intend to sleep in the other room, but later in the night, mabel wanted me to be in the room with her, so we shared one single bed and i accompanied her. (bones aching)
9th June 2005

Busselton

M&m were coughing badly last nite, so Mr Tan decided to bring them to c a doc. We went to two, but both of them needed appointment. So in the end, we ended up in the hospital. Busselton Hospital.

We spent two hours there, and the best thing is, consultation of doc is free! unless there is admission. In the end, the doc saw both of them and decided that there is no cause for worry, there is no medication so basically, we did not fork out any money. I would expect to pay becos I know for the locals, healthcare is very cheap, but we are tourists, I would expect to have to pay. But nothing, we dun have to pay anything.

After lunch, we went to Busselton Jetty. But there was no train to be sat, firstly becos the train is under repair and maintenance and also the wind is juz too strong. No way the train is moving. And also no way, I am going to walk with the children 2km down the jetty. Who knows, we might be blown away by the wind or washed out by tidal waves. Juz to let u know how strong the wind was, mabel was almost blown away (ok, maybe not blown away but knocked over) by the wind.

Next, it was still quite early in the afternoon, so we drove down a little to Dunsborough to see the Ngligli Cave. Last ticket sale closes at 330, we reached at 325. anyway, we managed to walk down to the cave. Spent about half an hour in there, or down there. The sight is beautiful with the statalclites hanging down. Columns of it. And the camera has to die out on us this moment, no battery so we could not use the flashlight, managed to take only a few pics. How lucky can we get!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Then we drove back to the motel. Had dinner, Mr Tan cooked some porridge for all of us but marcus wanted noodles. So had to cook special for him. Since the motel has ironing board and iron, I quickly ironed all our clothings that had been washed the previous nite. In one way, I could be kept warm too.

Over the news, I saw that the temperature at Pemberton and Albany could drop to 12 degrees Celsius. Showers with hail expected. Well, if there is really hail (if I heard correctly) then that is one big experience! The weather is expected to turn fine on Tuesday.

Now I understand why some people choose not to come to Australia in winter time. But I didn’t regret becos although becos of the adverse weather, we could not do much, but we enjoy the weather, the cold weather. And it was really chilly today at Busselton Jetty when the wind blew so strongly. To think that mabel was almost knocked over by the wind, it was really quite an experience.

10th June 2005

Pemberton

check out of Gale Street Motel and villa and drove down to Pemberton. The road to Pemberton (Vasse Highway), it was really an interesting road to drive on. It winds, goes uphill and downhill, past forests and my, those trees are huge. It was really an experience driving on this road.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

When we reached Pemberton, we decided to take the tram first, since the last tram leaves at 2pm (we reached Pemberton at about 1 plus). To Marcus, I think this was the best part of the journey, he considers this train. There is really a steam train but it only operates during the weekends. But the steam train was on the track and there was burning, so you could see the steam coming out from the funnel.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We were the only ones on the tram. It wass like we book the whole tram. Along the way, the tram driver was very good at his commentary. The people in Pemberton really knew their place well and even the trees in the forest. Pemberton is famous for its karri trees. He could explain the different types of trees/plants in the forest, the rivers, the history of the railways and etc. I really gain a lot of knowledge from him. M&m of course were excited. Earlier in the morning, a tree fell over the tracks and while we were near the end of the journey before the tram turns around, they were still removing the log away from the track. The log was really heavy, we were actually delayed for about 15 mins, but it was an experience to see them move away the log. In the end, they had to use the tram to pull the log with the lorry in front of the tram to pull it, that’s how heavy the log is. Anyway, at the end of the station, there was a 10 mins break, so we went into the forest where there is this tree (one old man guided us to the place, actually he didn’t have to) which is 360 years old. There was a big hollow at the base of the tree and three of us could go inside to hide.

After this tram ride, we need to go and find accommodation. We found one which says Karri Forest Motel. But it was more like a hotel and it was not really self contained, so we could not cook dinner, got to have dinner at the restaurant.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was very tired and slept very early. M&m were still playing while I slept, concuss beside them. Must be quite a sight.

11th June 2005

Walpole

While we were at Pemberton having breakfast, it started to rain again. At first, it looked like rain, on closer look, I realize it was hail! I was excited of course, this is the 1st time I’m seeing hails. To m&m, we had to tell them it is ice. Marcus actually went to pick up the ice. The hails were not very big pieces, juz small pieces, but it was to me quite a lovely sight.

After breakfast, we headed to the Lavender Farm. It was a lovely place, we should have drove up further to check out this place the previous nite. The lavender smells nice, fresh and natural. Then we went into the shop. Bought a lavender hot bag for aches and pains and also 100 lavender balls. They gave me a discount. Lavender farm is really a nice place, too bad we had breakfast, otherwise we could try their food here. I wish I could stay longer among the lavender to soak up their smell, but it was starting to rain again, so we had to head back to the shop and car.

We managed to feed some llamas at the lavender farm. M&m were excited to feed the animals. Mabel was the braver one, she was not really scared of the llamas. She was standing close and the llamas were like licking her hair. Marcus was not too afraid too, juz put the feed on his hands and let them lick his hands. I think they enjoyed it.

After that, we drove down to Walpole. Decided to spend a day at Walpole before we go to the Giant Tree Top Walk and then to Albany. So at Walpole, the lady at the tourist bureau is really nice and helpful. Got a lot of information from her. Then we decided to check out Riverside Retreat.

I am typing this, with the laptop on my lap, our house, all round, nature, trees and bush and I have seen three types of birds flew past and stop by. It is really a nice place, the host is very friendly too. Chatted with us. This is really a nice place to relax, well, of course I am on holidays so I find it relaxing, but I think if I stay here for 2 years, my life can be prolonged at least 10 more years.

saw rainbow almost everyday in Perth. very beautiful ones at times
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We will be cooking dinner later in the evening, still have not decide what to cook, guess we will juz ask m&m.

I am continuing this... it was after dinner, m&m were sleeping, they did not sleep in the afternoon and was quite tired. it was really peaceful. Marcus is really a homely person, not like us, adventurous kind. He was making so much noise and complaining during the journey, but once we checked into the Riverside Retreat, he was quite happy and started playing with his toys and mabel. Later at nite, he said, I am tired of Australia. Guess he is homesick and actually wanted to take an aeroplane back to Singapore. So lousy, not adventurous one. We were thinking he must have started to miss his trains and tracks and his playhouse Disney channel or his wide selection of vcds to choose from, that was why he says he wanted to go home.

Anyway, there are 8 more days before we go back to Singapore, so had to prolong his interest. I guess tomorrow when we reached Albany where there is beach, I am sure he would have forgotten it.

12th June 2005

Albany

In the morning before we check out of Riverside Retreat, there was hails again. Anyway, the previous nite, it was raining heavily and very windy. Even in the morning before we set off, it was still very windy and showers at times, with hails once.

When the sun was shining bright, we quickly set off. The host was really nice. He suggested that our family should stay over at Australia. He said I would have no problem getting a job as a teacher there. Sets me thinking…

As we head down to Albany, we will pass by Treetop Walk. This is a must to see. The bridge was suspended over the rainforest, with the highest point being 40m. so u could imagine some of the trees to be 40m and some even taller than that. It was quite frightening to walk the suspension bridge. Mabel pretended to have tummy pain and wanted me to carry her. Oh gosh, u could imagine, I have to tread carefully and make sure she dun fall over my arms and I wanted so much to look at the trees.

After this walk, there is another trail where you could see tingle trees. These trees have their base hollow out either by fire, fungal or insect attack. It is amazing how some big the holes are and we all took a few pictures, with us standing inside.

After this, we head down to Albany. This is a much bigger town as compared to Walpole. Managed to find an accommodation. Pelican something, self contained chalets as well. While there is still sunlight, I suggested that we go to the Gap and Natural Bridge to take a look.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

On the way there, it was very windy and occasionally showers. By the way, we saw a lot of rainbows in Australia. M&m are very excited at spotting a rainbow. When we reached the place, I was awed. The waves hit the rocks so hard (because the wind was so strong) that it was impossible to get to the viewing platform without getting wet. Plus the wind was blowing so hard, it was very chilly, very very chilly. Brought m&m down from the car but we could not venture further. We had to actually hide behind a caravan for shelter when the waves splashed up. We had to turn back, but we tell ourselves we must come back the next day, better prepared, with raincoats for m&m.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Went to town, wanted to buy some food, but when we reached the shopping centre, Albany plaza, it was pitch dark, then we realized it was a Sunday, the shops closed at 3 or 4pm. Oh god, luckily, we still have some rice to cook porridge.

At night, marcus was homesick again. Poor thing. Slept early too, about 10 plus.

Fell sick today, bad sore throat, flu and cough.
13th June 2005

Albany

Woke up this morning. Discussed that we should go for breakfast, then head down to Albany Plaza where we could get food and most importantly get some toys for m&m, especially marcus since he is homesick.

The place where we had breakfast was really nice. It was very nicely decorated and the man was very hospitable. Made us some hot drinks too. The weather today was much better than yesterday. Heard on the news the previous nite that 12th June was the wettest winter and coldest day in almost 40 years of Perth’s history. It was like hovering at 10 degrees Celsius yesterday afternoon.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Anyway, after breakfast, went to k mart 1st. when we reached the entrance, we saw Thomas the train ride. Spend $2 in the ride for m&m. went into k mart, needless to say, marcus bought himself a Thomas train set. $50. mabel bought herself some Barbie magnetic thing where you could change her clothings $10.

After k mart, went to coles to buy food for dinner. Before we left Albany Plaza, they wanted to sit Thomas the train ride again.

Next, we head off to the Gap and the Natural Bridge. This time, the wind was not as windy as yesterday, waves were not hitting as strong, we could at least make our way to the viewing platform. Have to carry m&m becos it was difficult for them to balance and walk in the wind. The wind was very strong for them. Even as I carry mabel, I could feel the resistance as the wind was blowing.

The view is wonderful, lovely, beautiful. You cannot help but be amazed by the work of nature. There was this gap formed between two rocks. And the waves juz keeps hitting at it, causing some splashes at times. Then some distance away was the Natural Bridge. Geographically, it’s known as the arch. It was beautiful as well, I think beautiful is not good enough to describe it. Awesome?

With kids, we did not dare to venture too far out. But I realized that m&m were brave. Standing on the platform with the waves hitting below, they were not scared.

After that, we went to the beach nearby to have lunch. Chilly wind, but that didn’t stop m&m from going to the playground. After that, we came back to the room. They started playing with their new toys immediately.

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in the room. Mr Tan was not feeling well. Cooked simple meal this evening, macaroni soup.

Marcus slept early too, before 9. wish he could do the same in Singapore. But I guess there is too much distraction for him in Singapore for him to sleep early. Same as me, with no internet access here, I have nothing to do in the nite, so I tend to go to bed early. 10 plus by Singapore’s standard is early.

Oh yah, it is my birthday today. 30th birthday, and I got a birthday surprise for Mr Tan.

Hyden

Woke up earlier in the morning becos we have a long way to travel. Started off at 8am.

Nearly lost our way on our way to Hyden. Luckily we turned back and back tracked a little.

Anyway, when we reached Hyden, we went to the Wave Rock first. It is really amazing to be there, looking at the Wave Rock. M&m juz enjoyed sitting at the bottom, like sun tanning like that.

Need to look for accommodation. Stayed near the Wave Rock, it’s called Wave Rock Resort. It is cottage style, the cottage is made of bricks and about 15 units of cottages are smacked in the middle of a bush land. It is really bush living at its best.

When we go to the village to buy things, Hyden is a very small town. It has a population that is between 400 to 600. but the people are really nice and friendly.
Anyway, we spent the late afternoon in the room. It was very very very cold

Perth, Scarborough Beach

Again we decided to set off early and drive as much as we could. We had breakfast 1st, then we set off towards the Pinnacles. We covered a long way today. I drove nonstop for 1 hour 20 mins. Hands were numb at the end of the driving.

For lunch, we stopped by this town and it was manned by a Chinese couple. We had fried noodle and fried rice. These 2 dishes never taste so nice.

At about 3pm, we decided that we have to stop over at Perth, becos we couldn’t possibly drive up to the Pinnacles. So I scouted for a place to stay, decided on a coastal region becos we had been and will be staying in the city centre. So came to this part of Perth called Scarborough Beach. Checked into this lovely serviced apartment, Seashells. Wow, it was really nice, the balcony has a view overlooking the Indian Ocean. There were people surfing in the ocean. It was really beautiful and romantic to be living here. There is a bathtub, looks like m&m can swim after all. It is really a nice place, I would not mind staying here for another nite.

too excited, the 1st pic, not taken well

Pinnacles

it was a long drive to the Pinnacles. it's really torturing. Mr Tan drove there.... it was raining and the highway is full of big trucks, it's really energy zapping.

by the time we reach there, i guess i didn't have the energy to go and appreaciate the pinnacles, juz rocks.... let the pictures do the talking.
