Random thoughts: suppose to b getting ready for work

1) I'm confirm a workaholic. Give me a day rest at home, yup, I feel restless. So I'm better off to work. Yet I dun want to work too hard. What a moron I am. But I need work to keep my mind going

2) before holidays 62 kg, I tell u, this is more predictable than the stock market, it will definitely increase after holidays. Anyone wants to make a bet??? Increase to???? I'm betting on 65kg.

Ok, focus, I'm late.

Looking forward to a brand new kitchen in December.

Did u see how the top surface is wavy and curves in?

There is a gap.

Thanks for the compliment that I look nice with my new perm.

I used to be afraid of perming my hair because I was afraid that I look too old, hair is too fluffy. I've always go for ling straight hair, thinking that this is the ideal hairstyle for me, most men like gals with long straight hair, I even went to rebond my hair once.

I took the plunge last dec to try digital perm, so far, friends have said that I look different. The perms have been straighten out over the year, so last sat, I went to perm again. Yup, the look is refreshing. But I still think I look mature in perm hair, guess it doesn't matter, I am old anyway. I just have to feel young at heart, that's all it matters.

Sorry folks, no pic of my new hairstyle, I dun tAke pics of myself.

I heard a quote before, to change the world, change yourself first.

So what can I change to change my world? Dun u find the present.... I dunno how to describe my present.

I long for a change, but I dunno what I can change.

Today has been an ordinary day with the kids.

Brought them to the library to borrow books. Then bringing them to swim, they met up with their cousins there. But it was a short swim because the sky turned dark.

After that we went brewerkz for lunch. The adults played a game with the children, I think other customers and the waiters an waitresses there were looking at what game we were playing.

Then in the evening, went to amk, the children have not seen their grandma and yee yee for two weeks.

bikins, speedos or boardshorts?

was watching razor tv and there are about 6 parts on this.

so throw out a few questions:

1) for females: do you prefer to wear bikinis, two-piece suit or one-piece suit?

2) would you wear your bikini top as a bra?

3) for males: do you prefer swim trunks or board shorts?

next week, then i'll ask about lingerie.

Review on cup porridge:

saw the advertisement on tv the other day, cup porridge. yesterday at prime supermarket, i managed to see the product. 2 for $2.45, ok, reasonable, bought it and tried.

1) there are some thai words on the packaging

2) smells like porridge, looks like porridge

3) too watery though, but i guess you can control the amount of water you put in

4) salty though

5) for those who have tried instant porridge last time, the one that you still need to cook over a fire, it's quite similar. It is definitely different from the normal porridge. the rice is smaller. i guess you could drink up the whole cup porridge if you want to.

final conclusion: well, it definitely cannot replace your main meal. For women on diet, probably. but not for me, I will definitely feel hungry after say, an hour?? but for a quick meal, say, you do not have the time, it's reasonable to keep you going before you grab something solid.
Last night, the ch 8 show had a scene where it frightened max. After that, he dare not come up to the room to sleep. At 3am, he woke up and couldn't sleep. he kept tapping my shoulder and said something. I couldn't hear what he said, to stop him from tapping my shoulder further and to give myself more sleep, i carried him over to our bed and had him sleep in the middle.

i don't feel fully rested. zombie..... maybe some sucking on some fresh blood will make me feel better.

That is the thing i like about living in a neighbourhood. When you stay at a place long enough, people know you and remember you, including the people working at the coffeeshop and the market.

This morning went to the wet market to buy some fish for dinner tonight, surprised that the fishmonger still remembers me and remembered that i have not been going to the market for a long time. told him seldom cook hence never go to the market, hmmm, actually fact is, it's cheaper to buy at hypermarket.

I think i've mentioned before, it must be a sign of old age, because in the past, when i lived in potong pasir and punggol, i do not find the people in the neighbourhood as friendly, maybe i was young and didn't socialise with them. But over here, it's kind of different. Maybe over the years, you learn to hone your skills of mingling and socialising.

Cooked dinner again for children. Love cooking for them. It's nice to see them finish up their food.

Sopia cooked the soup in the afternoon, when I came back, put the mince meat to steam. Soaked some black mushroom. Then while steaming, pluck some Rosemary for the fish, oven cooked the fish aft some seasoning.

Then I quickly wash the vege. After mince meat, I boil the vege. Cut the mushroom. After the vege is boiled, I cooked the mushroom and the gravy for the mushroom.

Last, cook the rice. As the rice is cooking, I bathe.

All in all, 3 dishes, abt 30 mins including preparation and cooking.

Hope the children love the cooking.

I am suppose up b shopping for my costume for staff dinner, well, I did. I went straight to the store, but either the cutting is too small only suitable for young people or I'm simply too fat. So didn't buy.

In the end, I bought a yellow bikini and a sundress.

Cooked bean sprout as one of the dish for dinner, but it was cooked by Mabel. I just guide her, helping with the seasoning. So she had the first practical lesson.

Chicken drumstick, just throw it into the oven. Soup was actually the children's soup for lunch.

Tired of always eating hor fun or chicken rice for dinner. So decided to cook.

Out for 2 day seminar. Sorry, but seminar is very boring.

Reviewing and planning. Don't really like this time of the year where planning for the next year starts. Review 2010, plan 2011, budget for 2011. Arggggh.

it's a new month, it's november, gosh, so fast.

as you get older, time passes very fast. when you start to find time passing by slowly, then you are really old liao. sometimes i wonder what is the cycle of life.

sometimes i wonder, why do we have to wait until we are old, then we start to enjoy our life? by then, probably i'll be bed ridden.

life's life. must fulfill this, fulfill that. whole life, carrying out your duty, fulfilling your duty.
