the day began with frustration.
first, anticipated Mabel to come out with some excuse on Sunday night not to go to school. thought settled her.
Last night, Max came into the room to say that he doesn't want to go to school. Faint. Talked to him, managed to persuade him and convince him to go to school.
This morning, doubled checked max, he's ok to go to school.
When i reached school, my handphone rang, it was Mabel. She said that she wanted to go home. I refused and insisted that she stays in school. She cried, she called me a second time.
Mabel, sorry, I had to put a stop to this nonsense. Every term when school reopens, you will come out with some excuse just to avoid school on the first day. I do not know why you are avoiding school. Is it because you don't like to go to school? who likes to go to school or go to work? I also dread going to work but the day has to come, it has to come. Then face it. Where is your resilience? You have to mentally prepare yourself to face it. You didn't, that's why you feel this way Avoiding it is not a solution.

Hamster found
Yesterday morning, the hamster was found.
It was found near the refrigerator, I guess it's hungry.

Clumsy
I hot my leg against the study table which is just beside my bed. Not once, but twice. The second time was very painful as I hit my knee bard against the edge. Still hurts now.

settling conflict
Max shifted his bed to marcus' room so that at night, he could sleep with them. But he doesn't like the corner, so he wanted to sleep on marcus' bed while marcus sleeps on max's bed.
Originally, marcus agreed, but last minute because it was rather hot at that corner, marcus went back to his own bed to sleep. Last night, after settling the kids, mabel went over to max's bed to sleep while marcus slept on mabel's bed.
Just now, marcus came to negotiate with me if he could sleep on his own bed. So i assembled all three children and asked them, this is the problem, so how to solve? Max started crying and said that macus complained to me first.
In a fit of anger, children's daddy blurted out, 'simple, shift the bed back.' and he proceeded to carry out the action of bringing the bed over. That makes max cried even more. Marcus said, ok, he will sleep on max's bed, no problem.
Inside my heart, i was fuming at children's daddy.
Asked marcus to go and tell his papa not to shift the bed, and i went to their room, closed the door and had a good talk with them. I told max that he must understand that he was the one who is bringing inconvenience to everyone and he should be grateful to marcus for accommodating him. Made the two brothers hugged each other and made max said thank you to marcus.

Looking at children, they are so easily contented, a little trip to the playground, they are so happy.

birthday part 4

Desaru Trip
On the 10th of june to 12 june, our family plus two other families, went to desaru. We drove to Desaru.
on the first day, before we checked into hotel, we went to the fruit farm. Mmmm, it was eye opening to see and learn about so many fruits. the fruit farm has a mini zoo too where the children enjoyed feeding the animals.

After checking into the hotel, it was swimming time for the children. Then it was dinner time and a time of gathering for the adults and children in the hotel room.
The next morning, we went to ostrich farm.
The children playing some games before setting off.
After ostrich farm, we went to have seafood lunch. While we were having lunch, it started to rain heavily. So the rest of the afternoon, all of us stayed in the hotel room.
and a surprise was planned. There was a birthday cake for max as it would be his birthday the following day. And max was crying because i told him to remove the candle with his mouth, and his head was pushed down. But it was a gentle one as we all still wanted to eat the cake.

counting down
I am counting down to school reopens and part of me really do not want the holidays to end. I am really enjoying the holidays, but part of me want to go back to work too as i know that it is not good to stop working for so long, you tend to get lazy.
I can foresee that next sunday, I will have a sleepless night, worrying about the next working day.
I'm already having a sleepless night now, it's already 12.42am and i'm still blogging.

Missing Marcus
Marcus went to BB camp 4D3N, on the second day, i kind of missed him and wondered if he is doing well. Well, i think he is certainly enjoying himself in camp.
I was helping him to pack his clothes for his camp on thursday night and i forgot to put a towel for him, so on the 2nd day of his camp, i brought a towel to his school. Well, I can only blame on my own blurness.
He is coming back tomorrow, will be going to fetch him at 12 noon.
Oh yes, btw, his hamster went missing this morning, I think it climbed out. We all wondered and worried how to pass the message to Marcus, but I guess he has to be told and we all expect that he would be extremely sad.

Birthday Part 2
While i was typing this, the children and their aunt are cooking dinner in the kitchen, special dinner prepared by them. So I will update later after the dinner and show you their creation.
My Birthday part 1
Mmmm happy birthday to myself. Oh yes, i received many birthday greetings on my facebook, though i have thanked each one of you, somehow, i still feel that i've not done enough. So here it goes again, thank you every single friend, students, relative, ex-students for your birthday greetings, really, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for remembering.
Someone mentioned, since i received so many greetings, i should be popular, i guess this is one of the benefit of teaching. I do not know at that time, how many lives i have touched, but after so many years, a simple greeting from an ex-student makes your day! It means that at times even though i was mean to them, but they remembered me, in a good way or bad, i don't know. But I do miss teaching them too. The joys, the laughters, the disappointment, the anger, the frustration.
As for my birthday wish for myself, I just wish happiness and health to my children. If i were to wish something for myself, well, hope my wish upon the shooting star last year can come true one day.

yesterday was max's birthday. He celebrated his birthday at Desaru, with a vacation with families, and a simple cake cutting. Though it was simple, it was the thought of everyone that counts. Thank you everybody. needless to say, max and i cut the cake together.
Recalled how max was only a baby and now, he has grown so much and became so talkative. He is cute, cheeky and a joy to be with.
I wish that he would grow up to be sensible and have a kind heart like Marcus. I wish that his dreams and aspirations will come true (ie if he puts his heart and soul into chasing it) I also wish that he would be smart, smart in the sense, to be flexible and adaptable to suit the fast pace of the changing world.
My child, enjoy your childhood while you can.

Tan lines on the feet

Finally completed.
As for why the qoo word on the other side is dark brown in color, it's because I ran out of it. Why do I ran out of it is because marcus started the cross stitch with the dark brown thread and he wasted a lot of it.

Half the holiday gone
So fast. We are approaching the end of the 2nd week of holidays. So is everyone enjoying the hollidays yet?
Have we done the things we set out to do before the holidays?
It's good to have a break to recharge. But people are never satisfied. Give them one month of holidays, they want two months.

i'm suddenly quite scared of technology changes, it's like age has caught up with me, i do not know if i can catch up with technology.

Weekend
I think it must be the holidays. Been inefficient for the past few days. Weekend do nothing much. Even last week, I don't really feel like working too hard. Do I have uncompleted work tasks? Definitely!
Hope the following week can be more efficient. Looking forward to the holiday on Friday.

2nd day of June
Only 2nd day of June, planned many things to complete..... maybe because i've stepped down from my post, I feel that my holidays are longer and definitely less paper work!!!! so i feel that i have more free time, so i must plan my holidays wisely to recharge.
Poor Isaac is in hospital, hope he recovers soon. Sad to see young children admitted in hospital.

Not very good outlook, but i thought Dow Jones went up last night???
anyway, US dollars dropped further..... I want to go US for holidays!!!!! Coach bags!!! joking, i don't shop for such things, not my character. But it would be a good opportunity to go US for holidays since US dollar is at its low. Colleague said, it would drop further.
